It outperforms any monitors I have used in the past, ranging from consumer to pro CRT's. Colors are very nice and the contrast is excellent. I was stunned by the performance of this monitor. This is very useful in most applications, as most applications have very little space left to work on from all the menus etc. Going from a 19" crt and 19" LCD to a 22" widescreen all of a sudden you have a lot of room.
